First outing for my new Citroen ZX 1.4!!!!!

Forecast showed much promise so was mucho peeved to turn up at Avon beach to see no wind at all. Maybe too much west in the wind for Christchurch so drove round to Boscombe where it was looking much better, and some nice waves as well.

First run out and the wind had dropped. Drifted downwind, got munched in the shore-break when coming in, and had a 5 minute walk of shame back to where I started. Arse.

Stuck a bigger fin in the Bee, released some outhaul from the 5.2, and tried again. After battling through the shore break got a few planing runs in, and one attempted wave-ride. But then the wind started dropping again so came in. Then it pissed it down and the wind died almost completely. Couldn't be arsed with waiting around in the rain to see if it would pick up again so packed up and went home.

Not a great session.
